Exactly who started the class war?

Here’s a quote by Bernie Marcus, founder of Home Depot, clearly stating that those who don’t oppose the Employee Free Choice Act should be shot. (covered at the Huffington Post)

“If a retailer has not gotten involved in this, if he has not spent money on this election, if he has not sent money to [former Sen.] Norm Coleman and all these other guys, they should be shot. They should be thrown out their goddamn jobs,” Bernie Marcus, founder of Home Depot, declared.

Don’t believe me? Well, here’s a link to the audio of the conversation, courtesy of wikileaks. Ironically, this statement was made on a conference call hosted by the Bank of America, three days after Bank of America received 25 billion dollars in bail out money.  (AIG was also on the same conference call)  So B of A was basically using taxpayer money to oppose union organizing.  And what should we do with all the B of A execs who have received bonuses last year…. ?

Bernie also shows his true colors, as a patriotic American, advising multi-national companies to leave America.  Also it is interesting that he ascribes the financial crises to anything else, other then malfeasance by Wall Street.

Apparently, Bernis Marcus really really hates France.  The worst fate in the world, according to Bernie is that USA would and up like “France.” Yes, France….? I suspect though if we follow his path forward (death to those who don’t oppose unionizing, increasing economic polarization) we end up looking a lot like some third world backwater.

That would be OK with Bernie though–the super-rich in his utopia would presumably live in their walled-off compounds, far away from the hoi polloi…
